Who we are

TheRecordXchange® was founded on a single belief: courts and the people they serve deserve technology built for them.

Since 2014, TRX has built court record technology exclusively for the justice system. That focus has never changed.

Our founding

Built by people who came from inside the industry.

TRX was founded in 2014 by court technology veterans with decades of direct experience in how courts create, manage, and deliver the official record.

The founders understood the problem from years of working inside it, serving jurisdictions across the country and building the kind of firsthand knowledge that doesn't come from outside the industry. That experience is the foundation every TRX solution is built on.

Today, TRX serves courts across the United States and internationally, with solutions that continue to expand as the needs of the justice system evolve.

Access to justice

The record belongs to everyone it affects.

TRX partners with courts to provide secure technology that transforms how proceedings are captured, managed, and made accessible, from the bench to the public.

A justice system where every court has the technology to work at its best — and every person it serves has meaningful, timely access to the record they depend on. When the process works, access to justice follows.

Our tools give courts and legal professionals capabilities that were never before available, reducing turnaround times, supporting more efficient and effective case resolution, and putting AI to work in ways courts can trust.

As a custodian of the record, TRX takes seriously the responsibility that comes with the data it manages and the people it ultimately serves.

Responsible AI

AI that assists. People who decide.

Artificial intelligence is changing how courts think about the official record. TRX believes that change should be guided by one principle: AI accelerates the work, but the official record remains a human responsibility.
