January introduces Enhanced Transcripts in TRX TranscriptionPro™ (TPro): a guided path that takes a confirmed designation and turns it into a court-ready transcript. The same release moves VoiceCopy™ actions directly onto the Workbench, so you spend less time hunting for the next step.
What are Enhanced Transcripts in TRX TranscriptionPro?
An Enhanced Transcript is a structured transcript you create from a confirmed designation. A new data form walks you through it: enter the participants, confirm the portion of the recording you want transcribed, and review the job details before you create. TheRecordXchange checks that a designation is confirmed and that VoiceCopy is available before it enables the Create button, so you know a job will run before you commit to it.
How do I start an Enhanced Transcript?
Set your bookmarks in the Workbench, confirm the designation, then open the Enhanced Transcript form. The form reads the confirmed designation to display the hearing date, start and end times, duration, and estimated processing details. Once the designation is confirmed and VoiceCopy is ready, the Create button activates.
What changed for VoiceCopy on the Workbench?
VoiceCopy is now front and center on the Workbench. You can process VoiceCopy directly from the VoiceCopy tab when no text is available yet, and export it from the same tab once text is ready. A safeguard prevents repeated clicks from queuing duplicate jobs while one is already running, so the Workbench stays predictable during busy stretches.
Is TranscriptionPro available to my team?
Yes. TranscriptionPro is now available to all providers and admins in the Storefront, so designated users across your organization can begin creating Enhanced Transcripts without a separate setup step.
In short
January lays the foundation for TranscriptionPro: a guided Enhanced Transcript workflow, clearer VoiceCopy actions on the Workbench, and broader access for providers and admins.
