June and July brought two of the most requested upgrades to TheRecordXchange: centralized single sign-on for Asgard, and VoiceCopy+, an enhanced tier of VoiceCopy™ speech-to-text built for judges and court staff who need an accurate, navigable record fast. TRX TranscriptionPro™ (TPro) and Request Central improved as well.

Can my court sign in to Asgard with our existing identity provider?

Yes. Asgard now connects to the identity provider your organization already uses. Staff sign in with their Microsoft Entra ID or Okta credentials, so there is no separate TRX password to manage.

  • Ready on day one: administrators can set up users and assign groups before anyone signs in, so the right permissions are in place at first login.
  • A familiar sign-in page: users who sign in directly with a TRX account now see a TRX-branded sign-in page.
  • Control stays local: tenant administrators manage their own groups and role assignments.
  • Consistent password rules: direct sign-in passwords follow the same policy as Microsoft Entra ID (8 to 256 characters, using at least three of four character types).

What is VoiceCopy+?

VoiceCopy+ produces an enhanced transcript for a designation in Asgard, with improved speaker attribution, proper nouns, and punctuation. Original VoiceCopy remains available alongside it.

  • Add participants first: enter names, roles, and speaker labels before you run VoiceCopy+ so the transcript gets them right. Your entries are saved, so you can come back and finish later.
  • Click any word to jump to it: VoiceCopy+ text is synced to the audio word by word, so a click moves the TRX Player to that exact moment.
  • Download a linked PDF: export VoiceCopy+ as a PDF with a header page, page numbers, and links that open the Player at the matching timestamp.
  • Export to RTF: RTF downloads show a speaker ID on every paragraph, with cleaner paragraph spacing.
  • Decide who can do what: role-based permissions separate who can run VoiceCopy+ from who can view results.

What's better in TPro transcripts?

Enhanced transcripts now keep natural paragraph breaks, so long testimony from a single speaker reads in manageable paragraphs instead of one block of text. Filler-word handling has also been refined for cleaner output.

What's new in Request Central?

  • Find requests faster: filter the Orders listing by county, status, and request type. Long county lists are searchable, and active filters appear as chips you can clear with one click.
  • Official Use Only notice: storefronts intended for authorized court personnel can display an authorized-use banner on the home page and request form.
  • Flexible payment entry: site administrators can record payments on off-platform requests without claiming the request first.

Frequently asked questions

Which identity providers does Asgard support? Microsoft Entra ID and Okta.

Does VoiceCopy+ replace VoiceCopy? No. VoiceCopy+ is an enhanced tier you run on a designation. Original VoiceCopy stays available.

Is my data secure? Yes. TheRecordXchange runs on a SOC 2 Type II platform, and single sign-on keeps credentials with your organization's own identity provider.

How do I turn these features on? Contact your TRX representative to enable single sign-on or VoiceCopy+ for your court.
